MARCH 11th 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST
Issues in the tissues
A FREE 2 hour online Masterclass
What if your stress, anxiety, and emotional patterns aren’t just in your mind, but living in your tissues?
Together, we explore:
How to soften overwhelm.
How to widen your Window of Tolerance.
How to build resilience from the inside out.
So you can move through life with more presence, choice, and ease.
This masterclass is for you if you:
You feel stress in your body.
You oscillate between anxiety and shutdown.
You want real tools, not surface advice
You’re ready to feel at home in your body
Part 1 — Embodiment & Yin With Kristyn Rose
Stress lives in the tissues: How fascia, connective tissue, and meridians hold physical, emotional, and energetic imprints. Discomfort as information: Shifting our relationship to sensation and learning to stay present rather than override or escape it. Safety through slowness: How yin and embodied practice help regulate the nervous system and build familiarity with ventral vagal states. Beyond the thinking mind: Why anxiety loops can’t be solved cognitively — and how consistent yoga practice creates felt safety in the body.
Part 2 — Nervous System & Psyche With Zamir
Why insight isn’t enough: You can’t talk your way out of dysregulation, regulation must be embodied. Expanding capacity: How nervous system awareness and somatic practices widen the window of tolerance and increase resilience. Polyvagal Theory made practical: Understanding sympathetic, dorsal, and ventral states in everyday life. The Window of Tolerance: What happens when we move outside it. Anxiety, shutdown, disconnection and why that matters.
These practices help you expand your capacity, soften patterns of overwhelm, and build a more trusting relationship with your nervous system, so you can move through life with greater presence, choice, and ease. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, resilient, and at home in your body, join us.

Zamir has been a seeker on the path of yoga and mysticism for 2 decades. Author of the Inner Path Yoga Deck, he is passionate about bringing the wisdom of the mystics to the modern mind and ancient heart. He leads Awake’s yoga program, co-created the TRU Yoga Teacher training, and has been teaching yoga internationally in Canada, Asia and Latin America.
Kristyn Rose is a seasoned Yoga and Yoga Nidra guide with a mission to bring mindfulness and profound rest to the world. Rooted in authenticity and compassion, she offers transformative practices that honour Yoga as a path to self-discovery and spiritual growth, leading students in awakening to their true nature and experiencing deep internal bliss.
Zamir’s work as a yoga teacher and holistic counselor is shaped by both classical lineages and modern inquiry. His hatha yoga roots were influenced by teachers such as Swami Sivananda and Donna Farhi, and he completed his 500-hour training in Chakra Yoga under David Goulet—an approach that bridges contemporary science with the embodied wisdom of the ancient yogis.
He has taught yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy through the Langara College Yoga Teacher Training program, working with students in Vancouver and internationally. Alongside this, his healing work is informed by training in Compassionate Inquiry, the somatic psychotherapy developed by Dr. Gabor Maté.
Over the years, Zamir has collaborated across disciplines, including co-creating Patterns to Presence, a program for healing attachment trauma, with behavioural scientist Sabrina Lakhani. His spiritual foundation has been deeply shaped by a decade of study in Ati-Yoga under Wisdom Master Maticintin, founder of HUMUH: Clear Mind Buddhism, including extended time in monastery life, meditation practice, Buddhist logic, and karma yoga.
One of Zamir’s favourite creative projects has been producing The Inner Path Deck, a yoga philosophy practice deck designed to help modern practitioners integrate the Eight Limbs of Yoga into everyday life through art, reflection, and practice.
Kristyn Rose is a seasoned Yoga teacher and dedicated practitioner specializing in Holistic Hatha Yoga, Restorative, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. Her journey as a compassionate guide in meditation has taken her across the globe in search of healing modalities and transformative teachings.
Kristyn’s mission is to make a peaceful impact by infusing the world with mindfulness and profound rest.
