FAQ

This journey is for sincere seekers drawn to yoga as a living tradition — whether you are a dedicated practitioner, teacher, or simply feeling called to experience yoga at its source. You do not need to be “advanced,” only open, curious, and willing to slow down.

No. All practices are guided and accessible, with options to meet you where you are. The retreat emphasizes presence, devotion, and embodied inquiry rather than physical performance.

The practices are rooted in traditional yogic teachings and sadhana, weaving together asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, Yoga Nidra, and contemplative inquiry. The focus is on yoga as a lived and integrated path.

Each day includes morning practice, nourishing meals, time for rest or reflection, and curated experiences such as sacred site visits, workshops, or pilgrimages. During the retreat phase in Tiruvannamalai, days follow a gentle rhythm of practice, study, sangha, and silence.

Practices are supportive rather than strenuous. Some excursions (such as cave visits or Girivalam around Arunachala) involve walking, but participation is always optional. You are encouraged to honor your body and personal rhythm.

You’ll stay in comfortable, thoughtfully chosen private or shared rooms designed to support rest and integration. Accommodations are clean, peaceful, and well-suited to retreat life rather than luxury tourism. Final room options and pricing will be shared soon.

All meals are included and are sattvic, nourishing, and prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Food is vegetarian, wholesome, and supportive of yogic practice. Dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.

No. Ayurvedic consultations and treatments are included as an option to support rest and healing, but participation is entirely optional. You may choose to receive treatments, attend workshops, or simply rest during those times.
